I'm a thing

I was just at a bar with a friend. Said friend had some interesting observations about me. Among them were:

"You're like a dial-tone looking for a country code..."

and

"You're like a wet sponge. Like you're so full but you need someone to like siphon that all into to something."

Both of these statements are very true.
