Well hey there. How's you doin'? Me? Oh I'm fine. Just a little chiefed out, high off of 13.5 chicken nuggets, bean and cheese burrito, delicious vanilla milkshake, blue corn chips and hot 505 Salsa, and about 1/4 pint of Ben and Jerry's chocolate fudge brownie. Oh yeah, it's about that time that I lay in bed, get cozy and play some Fairway HD Solitaire while listening to The Xx channel on Pandora.
I'm starting to feel like this blog entry is just a bunch of adverts... Well shit, guess that's what happens when you do drugs.
Don't do drugs, kids.
I'm really digging this song, what is it? ... Young and Beautiful by Lana Del Rey. Well, there's another advert for you.
Hey you! What are you doing on a Saturday evening? Sitting at home? Well why don't you do your part in the corporate capital-democratic machine and go buy some stuff. Need suggestions? Get some pieces of processed meat, a bunch of milk mixed with sugar, and then buy some popular songs that you don't really care that much about but you want because hey it's only $0.99 and really what else were you going to do with that dollar? That one dollar wasn't doing anything for you, really. Get over it. Dude just listen to the song like 10 times and try not to think about how you had so much more fun listening to the radio while doing homework waiting for your favorite song to come on (remember actually having a favorite anything?) and then frantically trying to find a blank cassette tape so you could record it and then you'd have this copy of your most favorite song that was missing the first 10 seconds and the last 5 because the DJ has to come on before the end of the song to plug the station and some other bullshit. Those were the days.
Now here's the question, were those the days because things were actually better? Or were those the days because we weren't able to discern how shitty they were? OR did we know how shitty they were but now have forgotten?
Things to ponder on a Saturday night.
Go have fun people. Leave the staying at home and worrying about things with no answer, rhyme, or reason to the neurotic creatives who don't know how to do anything else.
I'm looking at you Woody Allen.

Additional: Being high is super fun. Especially when there's plenty of food around. I imagine smoking pot in Ethiopia would be one of the worst things ever. You'd probably have awesome company and people to hang out with but you'd also have the munchies with no hope of curing them. That had better be some delicious conversation going on with those Ethiopians.
